The fact that GeoCities closed down back in 2009 still really has me depressed. I've been creating websites about Sailor Moon and Magic Knight Rayearth since high school and I've uploaded all of them at GeoCities since I can't afford a premium one then. Life eventually caught up with me as I graduated from college, that I didn't have the time (actually it slipped from my mind) to transfer all of them to another web hosting service the moment that they announced that GeoCities United States will now be permanently unavailable to the public.
How I envy their subsidiary in Japan, but since it is headquartered in Chūō, Tokyo, all of its services are available in the Japanese language only.
